Tofu nuggets
Tofu nuggets are breaded bites, which are tasty and savory.

Ingredients for 15-20 nuggets
- 125 grams of firm tofu
- 50 grams of flour (any kind, I used spelt flour)
- 50 grams of unsweetened non-dairy milk (I suggest oat milk)
- 70 grams of breadcrumb
- ½ tsp of turmeric
- ½ tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of chili pepper
- ½ tsp of pepper
- ½ tsp of dry sage
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
Preparation
First of all press the tofu to eliminate all the liquids it contains, then cut it into small cubes. In a bowl mix flour, non-dairy milk, turmeric, salt, chili pepper, pepper, and dry sage.
Dip the tofu cubes in the mix, then roll them in the breadcrumb. Place them on an oven dish and sprinkle them with olive oil.
Cook for 25 minutes (turn them when they are half cooked) in a convection oven at 180 °C.
Tofu nuggets can be kept in the fridge for two days.
These tofu nuggets are excellent to taste with ketchup and french fries.
