Vegan gyros pita
Gyros is a Greek street food: a pita stuffed with meat, onion, salad, tomatoes, and tzatziki. Here is the vegan version!

Ingredients for four people
- 4 pita bread (you can make them at home with this recipe)
- 250 grams of seitan
- 100 grams of red onion (about 1)
- 100 grams of lettuce (about ΒΌ)
- 150 grams of tomato (about 1)
- 125 grams vegan tzatziki (here's the recipe!)
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
Preparation
First, cut the seitan into strips and cook it in a pan with oil. Meanwhile, chop the onion, tomato and lettuce.
Take a pita and add the seitan, onion, lettuce, tomato and tzatziki.
Repeat the same process four times, then close one of the two sides of each pita and serve your gyros.
The gyros pita can be stored in the fridge for two days.
