Ingredients for 24 pains au chocolat

- 500 grams of flour

- 12 grams of baking powder

- 70 grams of sugar

- 150 grams of margarine

- 400 grams of water

- 100 grams of dark chocolate

- 50 grams of unsweetened non-dairy milk (I suggest oat milk)

- A pinch of salt

Preparation

Make a dough by mixing water with 100 grams of flour.
Allow it to rest for 2 hours. After this time has elapsed, add the remaining flour, yeast, sugar, margarine and salt to the bowl.
Knead and let rise for 6 hours.
At this point, divide the dough into 24 parts and form rectangles. In each rectangle add two bars of chocolate and close giving the shape of pains au chocolat.
Let rise for another 30 minutes.
Brush each pain au chocolat with a little vegetable milk.
Bake in a ventilated oven for 15 minutes at 180 °C.

The pains au chocolat can be kept in the fridge for three days.
