Samosa

Samosa is an Indian starter; it is prepared with a dough which is filled with vegetables and then fried.

Ingredients for 6 samosas

- 250 grams of flour

- 100 grams of water

- 50 grams of sunflower oil

- 1 tsp of salt


For the filling:

- 160 grams of cooked peas

- 250 grams of potatoes (about 2)

- 2 tbsp of olive oil

- 1 tsp of salt

- A pinch of pepper

- 1 tsp of cumin seeds

- 1 tsp of coriander seeds

- 1 tsp of garam masala

- ½ tsp of chili pepper

Preparation

First of all, boil the potatoes in hot water.
In the meantime, in a bowl mix flour, water, oil, and salt.
Knead the dough and let it rest for a few minutes.
Prepare the filling by smashing the potatoes with a fork. Add peas, oil, salt, pepper, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garam masala, and chili pepper. Mix well.
Roll out the dough and shape it into triangles.
Place a teaspoon of filling in each triangle and seal with the prongs of a fork.
Fry the samosa for a few minutes.

Samosa can be stored in the fridge for two days.
