Vegan sausage rolls
A sausage roll is a snack made of sausage covered with a pastry roll. This dish is known in the Commonwealth nations, including Australia.

Ingredients for 10 sausage rolls
- 100 grams of pastry roll
- 50 grams of onion (about ½)
- 100 grams of soya TVP granules
- 1 tbsp of ketchup
- 3 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of chili pepper
Preparation
First of all, prepare the filling. Let soak TVP granules for a few minutes.
In the meantime, slice the onion and sauté it in a pan with olive oil. Add to the pan TVP granules, ketchup, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and chili pepper. Cook for around ten minutes.
Pour the filling on the pastry roll and close it on itself.
Slice sausage rolls of around 2 centimeters each.
Cook in a convection oven for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
Sausage rolls can be stored in the fridge for two days.
