Vegan meat pies
Meat pies are pies filled with meat (in this case, vegan) typical of the Australian tradition.

Ingredients for 4 meat pies
- 100 grams of pastry roll
- 50 grams of onion (about ½)
- 200 grams of soya TVP granules
- 2 tbsp of ketchup
- 4 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Preparation
First of all, prepare the filling. Let soak TVP granules for a few minutes.
In the meantime, slice the onion and sauté it in a pan with olive oil. Add to the pan TVP granules, ketchup, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Cook for around ten minutes.
Cut the pastry roll into 4 bigger circles and 4 circles of a smaller diameter.
Place the bigger circle in a muffin tin, put the filling and close using the smaller circle.
Cook in a convection oven for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
Meat pies can be stored in the fridge for two days.
