Ingredients for four people
- 500 grams of seitan
- 100 grams of flour (I used spelt flour)
- 70 grams of unsweetened non-dairy milk (I recommend soy milk)
- 150 grams of breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 liter of seed oil
Preparation
Begin by preparing the batter by mixing the flour and non-dairy milk. In another bowl pour the breadcrumbs, salt and pepper and mix well.
Cut the seitan into slices, dip them into the batter, and later coat them in breadcrumbs.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan. When hot, deep fry for a few minutes.
Serve the vegan chicken tenders with baked potatoes.
The fried chicken tenders can be stored in the fridge for three days.
