Patatas bravas

Patatas bravas is a typical dish of Spanish cuisine. The name “patatas bravas” means “wild potatoes”, which derives from the spicy sauce served with the potatoes.

Ingredients for two people

- 300 grams of potatoes (about 3)

- 4 tbsp of olive oil

- 1 tbsp of salt

- 1 tsp of chili pepper

- ½ tsp of black pepper


To decorate:

- 2 tbsp of plant-based mayonnaise

- 1 tsp of paprika

Preparation

Begin by dicing the potatoes.
Pour the olive oil into a pan and add potatoes, oil, salt, chili pepper, and black pepper.
Cook on low heat for about 35 minutes, mixing every while and then to avoid the potatoes from burning.
Prepare the topping by mixing in a bowl the mayonnaise and the paprika.
Serve the patatas bravas with the sauce you obtain.

Patatas bravas can be stored in the fridge for two days.
