Onion rings
Onion rings are a delicious American fast food.

Ingredients for two people
- 150 grams of chickpea flour
- 250 grams of water
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 200 grams of onions (about 2)
- 1 liter of sunflower oil
Preparation
Peel the onions and cut them into slices. Divide the rings of every slice of onion. paying attention to not break them.
In the meantime, prepare the batter by combining in a bowl chickpea flour, water, salt, and pepper.
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
Dip the onion rings in the batter, then put them into the hot oil.
Fry the onion rings until browned. Dry them with absorbent paper.
Serve the onion rings while they are hot and crispy.
To serve: I prepared a spicy mayonnaise, by mixing vegan mayonnaise with a pinch of chili powder.
The onion rings can be kept in the fridge for two days.
