Vegan Harry Potter's birthday cake
To celebrate my 20th birthday, I decided to give myself a present and to prepare the birthday cake that Harry Potter receives in the first book ("Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone"). Hagrid gives this cake to Harry the day when he comes to get him and take him to Hogwarts. Hagrid made a few grammatical mistakes and sat on the cake during the trip.

Cooking time:

Cost:
Low
Ingredients for six people
- 260 grams of flour (I used whole wheat flour)
- 16 grams of baking powder
- 30 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 100 grams of dark chocolate
- 100 grams of sugar
- 300 grams of unsweetened non-dairy milk (I suggest oat milk)
- 50 grams of sunflower oil
- A pinch of salt
For the pink frosting:
- 50 grams of water
- 150 grams of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp of beet powder
For the green frosting:
- 50 grams of water
- 150 grams of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp of spinach powder
Preparation
In a bowl, combine all the following ingredients: flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, sugar, non-dairy milk, sunflower oil, and salt. Melt the chocolate in bain-marie. Let it cool and add it to the other ingredients.
Transfer the mixture to a baking tray. Cook for 35 minutes in a static oven at 180 °C.
Let the cake cool down and meanwhile prepare the frostings. In a bowl, combine water, powdered sugar, and beet powder. Mix well. In another bowl, combine water, powdered sugar, and spinach powder. Mix well. Cover the cake with the pink frosting, by spreading it well on the whole surface. Place the cake in the fridge for a few minutes. In the meantime, put the green frosting in a pastry bag. Take the cake and write in green Happee Birthdae (like Hagrid in "Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone").
Replace the cake in the fridge for a few minutes, to make the writing firm.

Harry potter’s cake can be kept in the fridge for three days.
