Ingredients for 6 spiders
- 10 dates
- 2 tbsp of oat flakes
- 2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 12 vegan chocolate chips
- 4 licorice rolls (make sure they do not contain animal gelatin)
Preparation
Let soak the dates for at least one hour. Blend the dates in a food processor until creamy. Then add oat flakes and cocoa powder. Shape the mix into balls and let them stay in the fridge for an hour. After this time, cut the licorice rolls into small pieces (around 3 cm each) and place 8 of them around each ball. In conclusion, add the chocolate chips to create the spiders’ eyes.
Halloween spiders can be kept in the fridge for three days.
