Ingredients for a loaf of bread of 300 grams
- 175 grams of flour
- 3 grams of brewer’s yeast
- 1 tsp of turmeric (for the yellow bread) or beet powder (for the red bread) or spinach powder (for the green bread)
- 3 grams of salt
- 100 grams of water
Preparation
Melt brewer’s yeast into the water. In a bowl combine flour, melted yeast with water, salt, and turmeric / beet powder / spinach powder.
Cover the dough and let it rest for two hours.
Knead the dough and shape it into a loaf of bread.
Let it rise again for two hours.
Cook for 40 minutes in a static oven at 180 °C.
Colored bread can be kept for two days.
